At Bakırköy Daily Rentals, check-in starts at 14:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and must be requested in advance; if you are arriving late at night, simply tell us your time in advance.

Why 14:00 and 11:00?
The time between these two hours is set aside for cleaning and preparing the apartment after the previous guest. Because the same apartment can pass to different guests back-to-back in daily rentals, fixed times ensure that every guest enters a ready apartment.
If you want an early check-in
Early check-in is the most common question for guests arriving on a morning flight or a night bus. It depends on whether a guest is staying in the apartment the previous night. Therefore:
- Tell us about your early arrival when you book.
- Ask again one day before arrival.
- If the apartment is still being prepared, plan how to spend the hours in between. If you have a suitcase, ask in advance what you can do with it during that time.
Turning the wait into something enjoyable is easy: Bakırköy Freedom Square (Özgürlük Meydanı) is about 6 minutes on foot; around it are Istanbul Caddesi, cafés and restaurants. The Bakırköy seafront and İDO ferry pier is about 14 minutes away. Breakfast and a walk by the sea easily fill the time until 14:00.
If you want a late check-out
If your flight or journey is in the evening, an 11:00 check-out can split your day. Late check-out is also subject to availability: if no new guest is arriving that day, it is easier to arrange. Do not leave your request until the last morning; ask when you book or at least one day before. We will tell you the conditions for late check-out when you ask.
Late-night arrival
Our phone and WhatsApp line is open 24/7. If you will arrive near or after midnight, tell us in advance; we will plan the check-in together. If your flight is delayed or you are held up on the way, message us again.
The building has security cameras and a lift: arriving late at night with luggage is easier, and you can take your bags straight up to your floor in the lift.
For a late-night arrival, keep these points in mind:
- Marmaray Bakırköy station is about 8 minutes on foot from the apartment.
- From Istanbul Airport (IST), allow about 40–70 minutes by car; traffic affects the time.
- If you use public transport, check the current timetable for the last services.

What happens at check-in?
In Turkey, accommodation providers must register every guest's identity, so each guest needs a passport at check-in; Turkish citizens can also use a T.C. ID card. If you plan to pay on arrival, have cash or your credit card ready. You can ask any questions about Wi-Fi, air conditioning and using the kitchen at that time. If you want to shop for your first evening, the market around Freedom Square is about 6 minutes on foot and Capacity shopping mall is about 9 minutes.
Time plan for a one-night stay
If you stay one night, you have about 21 hours between check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 11:00 the next day. If you arrive late in the evening and leave early in the morning, most of that time goes to sleep; think about whether you need early check-in or late check-out when you book. A short checklist before check-out
- Check small items such as chargers, passports and ID cards.
- Make sure you have not left food in the fridge.
- Turn off the air conditioning and close the windows.
- If you leave before check-out time, let us know.
Extending your stay
If you want to stay another night, ask as early as possible; that gives you a better chance of staying in the same apartment. If the apartment is already booked for the following nights, we will look at another available apartment type together. Added nights are also confirmed by written message.
